Bob Wunderlick '84

Coach Wunderlick enters his 35th season at Jesuit, serving as both varsity and freshman head coach during his tenure. Wunderlick was the head varsity coach for 14 seasons (1997-2010), earning a 79-67 record, winning three Texas Christian Interscholastic League (TCIL) State Championships (1997, 1998, 1999) and ushering the Rangers into the UIL.

Wunderlick coached several future Jesuit Dallas Hall of Fame inductees, including Brian Hall ’99, Omar Jenkins ’00, John Wall, Jr. ’03 and Reggie Stephens ’05. In addition, Wunderlick earned the Gold Ranger Award in 2015, an award designated for a former Jesuit letterman who has made significant contributions to the greater Jesuit Dallas community.

Earning a bachelor’s degree in English, Wunderlick graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in 1988. In addition to coaching, he teaches English at Jesuit Dallas. Bob and his wife Kathleen have two children: Maggie  (Ursuline ’15) and Bobby ’17.
