Jesuit Dallas Athletics

Yarbrough is is in his fourth season as head coach of the junior varsity hockey team. A 1996 graduate of Jesuit Dallas, Yarbrough attended the University of North Texas from 1997 - 2001 and spent three seasons playing for the UNT club hockey team. 

After graduating from UNT in 2001, JR made the move behind the bench and coached the team for two seasons, one year as an assistant coach and one year as the head coach. From 2011 – 2018, he coached in Frisco for the Dallas Stars Metro Hockey League as well as helping out on-ice with the youth enhancement program for the Stars (all ages). JR has been a fixture in the DFW hockey community for 20+ years and is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach.
