Jesuit Dallas Athletics

Banister has been a member of the Jesuit Dallas lacrosse coaching staff since 2014, and serves as an assistant on both the junior varsity and varsity roster, specializing in mentoring the goalkeepers.

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Banister was a senior captain of the Mean Green’s club lacrosse team and began his coaching career following graduation as an assistant coach on the North Texas staff. Banister is also an assistant coach for Iron Horse lacrosse, a position which followed a four-year stint as a high school referee.

Banister’s son, Christian Carson-Banister ’13, was a United States Interscholastic Lacrosse Association (USILA) Third Team All-American and played lacrosse for the Connecticut Hammerheads of Major League Lacrosse (MLL).
