Mallory Wainwright

Wainwright arrived at Jesuit Dallas in 2022, was named the interim head coach in November of 2023 and was promoted to head coach in the summer of 2024.
 
During the 2023-24 tennis season, Wainwright's first year at the helm, she helped lead the Rangers to another wildly successful season culminated by a historic run through the postseason by Connor Cole '25. After winning his first tournament of the year at the Frisco Wakeland Tournament on March 22, Cole swept his way through the field at the District 7-6A Championships, winning all four of his matches via a 6-0, 6-0 decision en route to punching his ticket to regionals. Cole would go on to win the UIL Region I-6A Championship and advance to state. Jesuit Dallas would finish third at district in Wainwright's season as interim head coach, helping the Rangers finish the year with an 8-4-1 record.
 
Wainwright, who finished her 10th year of coaching tennis and her seventh year of coaching high school during the 2023-24 academic year, has blazed a trail of success throughout her career and brings a multitude of experience to the Ranger tennis program. Prior to arriving at Jesuit Dallas, Wainwright coached Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans to a state title in 2019,  adding state runner-up finishes in 2021 and 2022. As a student-athlete, Wainwright captured titles at Saint Scholastica Academy in Covington, Louisiana and at St. Thomas More H.S. in Lafayette, Louisiana.
