Craig Cain was named the Jesuit Dallas shotgun coach in the summer off 2025.
He is a retired firefighter and paramedic who served the City of Mesquite, Texas, for 31 years. His career in public service has shaped his passion for teamwork, leadership, and community. Born and raised in Dallas, he brings a strong sense of Texas pride and a commitment to helping others succeed.
Craig is also an accomplished shooting sports coach with five national championships and numerous athletes who have earned collegiate scholarships and state team honors. He specializes in sporting clays, skeet, trap, and wingshooting, and continues to compete at a high level as an NSCA Master Class shooter and member of the United States Helice Team in 2020.
Outside of school and coaching, Craig enjoys spending time fishing—especially at Caddo Lake—with his dog, Keighty. He looks forward to supporting students’ growth both in and out of the classroom, and to collaborating with fellow faculty to create positive, meaningful experiences for all learners.
