Ryan Menard has more than 20 years as a high school wrestling coach, including the last 21 as the Jesuit Dallas head coach after being hired in 2004.
Menard's most recent squad went 9-3 and finished fourth at the district meet with eight regional qualifiers in 2025. The Rangers also won nine duals in 2021-22.
He has a long history of mentoring Jesuit wrestlers to the state championship. Recent participants have included Kingston Stephens at 135 pounds in 2026 and 126 pounds in 2025, Logan Mezger at 170Â pounds in 2021 and Shane Ross at 126 pounds in 2014 & 2015, and Nick Barker at 120 pounds in 2014. Stephens finished third as a junior and then was the state runner-up as a senior in 2026.
In addition to his coaching duties, Menard has also coordinated the school's driver's education program and works with the facilities/parking staff.
He also spent four years as a coach and teacher at Sam Houston High School in Arlington.
