Senior Parker Towns scored Jesuit's first individual sprint event victory in 10 years, closing out the 54th Annual Jesuit-Sheaner Relays as one of two members of the track & field team to score an individual victory.
 
Towns won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 38.90, falling nine-tenths shy of the school record set by Bob Granger in 1982. The senior two-sport athlete became the first Jesuit Dallas student-athlete to win an individual sprinting event at the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays since 2008, when Lee Johnson ran a 14.85 to spark a 1-2 in the 110 hurdles with Alex Sementelli '09.
 
Towns edged Antwane Johnson from McKinney by .25 seconds to score a key win for Jesuit Dallas in the afternoon session. The senior additionally scored for the Rangers in the 110-meter hurdles, running a 14.88 to place fifth.
