Day earned a 2-0 record last week, helping Jesuit start the district season with a 3-0 record after two wins over JJ Pearce and a victory over Lake Highlands. Day gave up one run on three hits, striking out four over the final three innings of Jesuit's win over Pearce on Mar. 16, then threw a complete game on Mar. 20 against Lake Highlands, striking out six batters.
