Kostos tied a school record in the high jump, clearing the 6'6'' bar and capturing the individual district title in the event while helping the Rangers clinch the 2022 District 7-6A Track & Field Championship. The senior became one of only two high jumps in the history of the Ranger track & field program to clear the 6'6'' bar, joining Shawn Regan '16, and is one of only three jumpers in program history to clear a height higher than 6'5 1/2''.
