Hamrick hit .375 during the 2016 Highland Park Classic, scattering six hits, including a double and triple, over the six-game tournament slate at Prosper H.S.  The senior cumulated a .474 on-base percentage, forcing a pair of walks, and was one of five Rangers to start in all six games.  Hamrick also picked up a win on the mound, allowing one run on four hits and striking out six in the Rangers’ 11-1 win over Richland on Friday.
