Jackson ran for a team-high 171 yards and two touchdowns, setting a new career-high inside the Historic Cotton Bowl last Friday against Plano East. Averaging 6.3 yards per carry, Jackson was a workhorse for the Blue and Gold, carrying the ball 27 times. The senior recorded the game-opening score with 5:59 left in the first quarter from two-yards out, adding a 16-yard touchdown run in the second.
