Towns threw for a career-high 365 yards and two touchdowns in Jesuit's season-opening setback to Texas state-ranked No. 2 DeSoto on September 1. The senior completed 35-of-55 pass attempts, commanding an offense that trailed, 28-6 in the third quarter but came storming back in the second half against the reigning state champions.
