Jesuit Dallas closed out its non-district schedule with a 59-35 win over brother school Houston Strake Jesuit in Week 3. Senior quarterback Bo Schneider impressed again, throwing for five touchdowns and 253 yards on 10 completions, while leading the Rangers to their fourth consecutive football win over their fellow Men for Others.

The fireworks started early as Strake scored in the game's first minute on a 63-yard run by Dwyer Bucey. The boys from Dallas responded quickly with a touchdown of their own, as Schneider found Garrett Amy less than a minute later for a 26-yard strike. The teams traded punches in an action-packed first quarter that concluded with Mac Elliot's 32-yard interception for a touchdown, tying the game at 21-21 after the first frame.

The pick-six ignited Jesuit's defense, which stopped the Crusaders on five consecutive drives in the second and third quarters. During that time, the Rangers scored on four of their five drives against a defensive unit that had yielded just 23 points in its first two games. Schneider threw pay dirt passes to Max Loughborough and Amy, Matt Slovak muscled in a five-yard TD run, and John Wengierski hit a 20-yard FG to add to a perfect 8-for-8 night on PATs.  Jesuit Dallas went into the fourth quarter up big, and put the game away with an Adam Holtz five-yard TD run.

The victory moves Jesuit to 2-1, and further emphasized the team's offensive prowess. Amy's three touchdowns and 124 yards moved his season totals to nine TDs and 424 yards on 14 catches (30.3 yards per catch). Lynch hauled in three passes for 94 yards, while Loughborough rushed for a team-high 109 yards on 12 carries.
