Nicholas Colombo scored with 3:02 remaining in the third period, pushing the Rangers past McKinney, 1-0, on Thursday at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in McKinney. 

Royce Allred notched his second shutout of the season, making 32 saves in goal.  On the season, Allred has impressed for the Blue and Gold, currently possessing a 3-1-0-1 record with 115 saves, a .927 save percentage and 1.76 goals against average.

Matthew Wrobel and Louis Helsen IV assisted on Colombo's goal, pushing Helsen's season total to four assists, tying Michael Schmidt for the team lead.

Jesuit Dallas (4-2) finally cashed in after a slew of third period opportunities, scoring even strength after spending nearly half of the period on the power play.  After Colombo's goal, the Ranger defense stood firm, with Allred turning aside five third-period shots by McKinney en route to the win.

The Rangers will next take on Coppell on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m., aiming to hand the Cowboys their first loss of the season.
