Bryan Montgomery on the call live from the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Richardson, Texas.
The beginning of a three-year partnership with Stretch Internet, the Rangers' athletic video portal will provide live video streams, with commentary, for various athletic contests throughout the academic year. Featuring a fully customized, Flash-based media player and viewing portal, Jesuit Dallas is intent on delivering high-definition broadband service of its home athletic events and select road events to viewers free of charge. Free high-quality audio broadcasts will also be made available for select road contests.
Earlier this year, the portal was utilized to broadcast Jesuit Dallas football contests on tape-delay, along with live broadcasts for the Rangers' victories over Sunset and MacArthur. The first non-football broadcast to be featured on the video portal, Thursday's hockey showcase will highlight a battle between the first and second place teams in the AT&T Metroplex H.S. Varsity Gold lead, with the 4-1-0-1 Rangers looking to end Coppell's five game, season-opening winning streak.
A full schedule Jesuit Dallas broadcasts will be revealed in the near future.
