The Rangers were unable to pierce a suffocating forecheck by the Coppell Cowboys that limited the Blue and Gold to only seven shots in a 5-0, Coppell victory on Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Richardson, Texas.
Coppell (6-0) scored three goals in the first nine minutes of the first period and quickly retreated into defensive mode, keeping the Rangers (4-2-0-1) away from the Cowboy goaltender for a majority of the contest.  Jesuit Dallas did total seven shots on the evening, including four during the third period, but Coppell controlled the pace for a majority of the contest, scoring their fourth goal in the second and fifth goal in the third to provide the final margin.
