The Ranger bowling team kicked off the 2016-17 campaign with a resounding, 12-3 triumph over MacArthur on Saturday, November 5 at ITZ Lanes in Euless, Texas. The lone meet in 2016, Jesuit will enter the new year with a high degree of momentum after a convincing, all-around team effort.
 
Entering the season ranked second in the district, Jesuit took an early, 5-2 lead after singles play, including a pair of points for earning the best aggregate pin total after the opening stanza. Competing for the first time this season away from their home lanes, the Rangers responded with a dominant performance in baker games, sweeping all three games and securing the win.
 
"Our boys found their groove and together as a team showed they can stand up to the toughest competition in the district," commented Jesuit Dallas head coach Ken Howell. "I was proud to watch them come together the way they did."
 
Jesuit will next compete on Saturday, January 7 against Nimitz, a match that will take place at 9:30 a.m. at ITZ Euless.
