Munck led off the game with back-to-back goals, scoring the lone tally of the first quarter before finding twine again early in the second quarter. Back-to-back goals by Episcopal tied the game, but the Rangers exploded for two goals in the final 13 seconds of the first half, the first scored by Kissick before Munck put the Rangers up by two goals, completing his hat trick with three seconds remaining in the second quarter.
Episcopal struck again with two unanswered goals in the third to tie the game before Kissick scored his second goal of the game to put the Rangers back in the lead. The Eagles took their first lead of the game with two unanswered goals, holding a 6-5 lead with 3:36 remaining in the third quarter.
Sprock tied the game with five seconds left in the third quarter to send the game into the final quarter of regulation knotted at a 6-6 score. Jesuit Dallas maintained possession for a majority of the fourth quarter, finally breaking through with 1:30 left in regulation on Burnum's game-winner. The Rangers would secure the ball after the go-ahead tally and maintain possession, running out the clock to finalize the key regular season victory.
Jesuit Dallas will close the regular season on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. against Keller.
