A pair of two-goal runs in the first and third periods proved to be the difference in Keller's 5-3 Keller victory over Jesuit Dallas on January 5 at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in Richardson.
 
Anthony Calabrese lit the lamp to improve his team-high scoring total to seven tallies. In total, three Rangers found twine, as Carson Platt scored his third goal of the year, while JonMikal Dragojevic tied the game 55 seconds into the third with his fourth goal of the season. Royce Allred stopped 23 shots in net, and Christopher Black picked up a pair of assists to move his season total to six helpers. Calabrese and Platt teach tacking on one assist to their stat lines.
 
Jesuit (4-8-0) was shut out in the first period, while Keller (9-3) scored goals at the 13:10 and 2:30 marks to go into the first intermission up two goals. The two teams stood at a stalemate for the first five minutes of the second before Jesuit scored two goals in 10 seconds, the first a Calabrese tally from Platt and Black before Platt put home a pass from Black to tie the game at 2-2. However, momentum was ripped from Jesuit at the 8:03 mark, when Keller would score to take a one-goal lead into the third.
 
Dragojevic scored unassisted to tie the bout once again, but Keller responded with two goals before the 10-minute mark, stopping five Jesuit shots down the stretch to ice a Ranger comeback.
 
Jesuit will return to the ice on Thursday, January 19 to face off against Southlake Carroll. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at the NYTEX Sports Centre in Euless, Texas.
