Jesuit Dallas improved to 3-0 on the year with a definitive, 69-41 win over Denton on Tuesday afternoon at Walsh Gymnasium. The Rangers, ranked 16th in the state according to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC), capitalized on a 31-2 run spanning the second and third quarters to continue their season-opening winning streak.

Senior Marcus Hill added 11 points while fellow fourth year Michael Jankovich added 10 points to the Rangers' effort. Senior Reid Hatzmann logged nine assists while junior Julius Marble tacked on eight rebounds. Senior Keagan Nwosu blocked a pair of Denton shot attempts, and Abmas led the team with four steals.

The Rangers out-rebounded the Broncos, 43-22, scoring 15 second chance points off of 14 offensive rebounds. Jesuit added 28 points in the paint compared to eight Denton points inside the lane, resulting in Jesuit holding the lead for 94 percent of the contest. Denton turned the ball over 20 times, helping the Blue and Gold score 22 points to help tilt the scales in their favor.
