Rangers Set Program Scoring Mark in Bi-District Round Victory
Jesuit Dallas set a new program scoring record while withstanding a vaunted rushing attack by Lakeview Centennial to secure the program's sixth consecutive UIL Bi-District Championship, 79-55, on Friday at Postell Stadium. Parker Towns shined in his final home game, scoring four rushing touchdowns while throwing for three scores and 320 yards to pace the Jesuit offense. Classmate Fletcher Rosenbleeth added five receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns to help Jesuit out-gain Centennial in total yardage, 753-724, in a wild back-and-forth affair. After allowing the game-opening score, Jesuit scored 21 unanswered points to establish firm control of the contest. The Rangers would score 30 second-quarter points to take a 44-20 lead into halftime before adding 28 points in the third to put the game out of reach.
Parker Towns Named Dallas Morning News Offensive Player of the Week
Senior Quarterback Parker Towns was named the Dallas Morning News Offensive Player of the Week after Friday's performance against Lakeview Centennial. Towns finished the game 12-of-17 for 320 yards and three touchdowns through the air while adding a career-best 141 yards and four touchdowns on the ground to play a direct role in 42 of the team's 79 points. Career Marks Abound in Playoff Triumph

Parker Towns set new career highs in total touchdowns scored and total rushing touchdowns, producing a career-best 482 yards between his passing and rushing totals. Defensively, a number of Rangers either matched or surpassed previous career-highs in tackling. Senior John Cooke joined juniors Witt Chambers, Andrew Gregory and Collin Kenny in aiding the victorious Jesuit effort while establishing new personal bests.
