A suffocating Jesuit Dallas defense scored 37 points off of 27 San Antonio Memorial turnovers in a dominant, 70-35 first round win at the 55th Annual Bob Stras Knights of Columbus Tournament on Thursday night at Walsh Gymnasium. Sparked by three double-digit scorers, the Rangers advance to face Amarillo Tascosa on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the tournament's second championship bracket semifinal.
 
Senior Keagan Nwosu shot 4-for-4 from the floor and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line to finish the contest with 17 points, leading the Rangers in scoring. Classmate Marcus Hill added a team-high three buckets from behind the arc, closing the bout with 14 points.
 
Junior Max Abmas tacked on 11 points, senior Michael Jankovich added nine points and junior Julius Marble converted three buckets to secure seven points. Nwosu also led the Rangers with eight rebounds while joining Jankovich and senior Reid Hatzmann with a team-leading three assists. Abmas tacked on a team-leading four steals.
