All five Jesuit Dallas scorers finished with double digit performances, helping the Rangers capture a 75-69 over Mansfield Timberview on Tuesday night at Walsh Gymnasium. The Rangers upended the Wolves, ranked second in Class 5A according to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) after allowing 10 unanswered points to start the contest, earning their 11th victory of the season and third straight win heading into next week's district opener against Coppell.

Jesuit Dallas out-rebounded Timberview, 34-23, adding 18 points off of 15 offensive rebounds. The Rangers also converted 82.4 percent of free-throw attempts to keep the Wolves at bay down the stretch of the contest.

How it Happened
- Jesuit Dallas worked its way back into the game after the early salvo by the Wolves, cutting the lead to five points after the end of the first quarter.

- In the second quarter, Jesuit hit 7-of-14 shots on a 16-8 run, taking their first lead of the game on a Jankovich tip-in with 1:06 left in the half. Senior Joey Preboy hit a jumper with 30 seconds left to hand Jesuit a three-point advantage going into the break.

- Timberview tied the game to open the second half but the Rangers came storming back. Over a five-minute span in the third quarter, Hill scored eight points to keep Jesuit in tee lead until a 7-1 swing by Timberview tied the game again. Hatzmann hit a key three-pointer on a pass by Preboy to regain the lead.

- With 7:13 remaining in the fourth quarter, Mansfield Timberview took its first lead since the second quarter. However, Jesuit took the lead right back after Hill drew a foul, converting one of two free-throws to tip the scales back in favor of the Rangers.

- In the fourth quarter, Jesuit went 5-for-5 in free-throw attempts, 3-of-5 from beyond the arc and 9-of-13 from the field while forcing three Timberview turnovers to clinch the victory.

- Abmas has hit four or more three-pointers on five occasions this season and has accomplished the feat in three of his last four contests.

- Jesuit's second quarter run proved to be the game-breaker, providing the Rangers with a halftime lead after a three-possession first quarter deficit. Heading into the 13th game of the 2017-18 campaign, the Rangers have outscored opponents, 18.5-11.6 in the second quarter, the highest quarterly point differential this season.

- Jankovich recorded his third consecutive double-digit game on Saturday, Marble tacked on his fifth double-digit outing over the past six contests and Hill crossed the 10-point plateau for the 10th time in 12 opportunities.
