Overcoming a two-goal, first period deficit, Jesuit Dallas tied the contest in the third before falling, 4-3, to Keller on Dec. 7 at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in Euless, Texas.
 
Alexander Luff led the Rangers with one goal and two assists, totaling three points on the evening to lead the Jesuit Dallas effort. Luff has made an immediate impact on the varsity roster, racking up five points on two goals and three assists over four games. Matthew Wrobel added his third goal of the season while JonMikal Dragojevic's second tally of the year tied the contest with 5:21 remaining in regulation.
 
Anthony Calabrese added an assist on Luff's second period goal while Joseph Giesendorf recorded an assist on Dragojevic's equalizer. Jesuit Dallas goalie Royce Allred stopped 33 shots while the Rangers were outshot by Keller, 37-24, but had six power play chances, scoring two of their three goals while on the extra-man opportunity.
 
Both squads battled in the opening period but remained scoreless until the final four minutes of the first. Keller scored a pair of goals within a two-minute span before Wrobel lit the lamp for Jesuit's first goal at the 2:19 mark. In the second period, Keller took the lead back at the 4:35 mark before Luff scored with two seconds remaining in the period to hand Jesuit Dallas momentum heading into the third.
 
Jesuit tied the contest after Dragojevic found twine off of passes from Giesendorf and Luff. The two squads seemed destined for overtime until Keller scored with 2:11 left on the clock, limiting Jesuit Dallas to five shots in the third period.
 
The Rangers will aim to rebound on Thursday, December 14 against McKinney. Jesuit Dallas and McKinney have already met twice this season, with McKinney securing both wins. The last time that the squads met, McKinney earned a 2-1 victory on Nov. 2. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in Richardson, Texas.
