Marcus Hill was named to the all-tournament team to complete a dominant weekend for a Jesuit Dallas squad that averaged 70.3 points over three games.

Marble scored a team-high 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting and 7-of-7 free throws, logging his second consecutive 20-point game in the process. Junior
Max Abmas went 5-for-8 from behind the arc to score 20 points while adding three rebounds, two assists and a team-high two steals. Hill tacked on 11 points,
Reid Hatzmann added seven points and
Michael Jankovich contributed six points. Marble and Hatzmann brought down a team-high five rebounds each and Hatzmann added a team-high seven assists.

Jesuit Dallas remained unbeaten on the year, shooting 55 percent from the floor and 81 percent from the charity stripe. Hitting 11 three-pointers, the Rangers limited St. Ignatius to 47.9 percent from the floor while forging 12 attempts from the free-throw line.

How it Happened

- The Rangers fired the first shot with a 10-3 run, hitting their first four shot attempts including two three-pointers to establish control early. Jesuit took a 16-10 lead after the end of the first quarter.

- Jesuit's lead blossomed in the second quarter as the Jesuit Dallas guards continued to bury three-pointers. Over the final 1:45 of the opening half, Marble converted four free-throws to send the Rangers into the break with a 35-17 lead.

- St. Ignatius made a run at the Jesuit Dallas lead in the second half, using a 10-2 run in the third and a 12-8 run in the fourth to reduce the lead to 13. However, the Rangers put the game away with a 6-0 run with under four minutes remaining in the fourth. Marble scored four points over the two-minute stretch, two with a field goal with the second two converted on the free-throw line. Abmas added tree free throws with 30 seconds remaining in the contest to help Jesuit clinch the win.

Jesuit Dallas will travel to New York City for a five-day trip on Wednesday, Dec. 7. The Rangers will face Long Island Lutheran at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7 and Our Lady of Lourdes on Dec. 8 before closing a three-game slate on Saturday against an opponent to be determined.
