Erupting out of the gate on a 32-6 run, Jesuit Dallas cruised to its ninth win of the season with an 80-33 triumph over Our Lady of Lourdes in the opening round of the inaugural Knight Classic on Friday evening at Holy Cross High School. Jesuit rebounded from its first loss of the season with a resounding effort, securing several stellar performances en route to forging its first win of the three-game New York City trip.

Max Abmas led the way with 16 points, hitting four three-pointers and shooting 6-of-10 from the floor. Classmate
Connor Wilson scored a career-high 14 points, shooting a perfect 6-of-6 from the floor while adding three rebounds and two assists. Senior

Jesuit Dallas out-rebounded Our Lady of Lourdes, 41-21, dragging down 19 offensive boards. Holding the lead from wire to wire, Jesuit shot 46.3 perfect from the floor while burying 12 three-point buckets. The Rangers converted 26 turnovers from the Warriors into 38 points while staying out of foul trouble, only committing six throughout the entire contest.

- The Rangers raced to a 26-6 lead in the first quarter, hitting nine of their first 16 shots and causing eight turnovers. Jankovich scored nine first quarter points and Abmas added eight.

- After the two squads scored 13 points apiece in the second quarter, the Rangers capped a 10-point run to begin the third quarter, taking a 27-point lead. Jesuit Dallas would continue to expand upon its lead down the stretch of the second half, heading into the fourth quarter with a 28-point lead.

- In the fourth quarter, Jesuit closed out the game with a 20-3 run, scoring the final 16 points of the contest. IN the fourth Wilson led the Rangers with eight points followed by five points from junior John Phillips and four points from Hollerich.
