Timothy Montpas passed the Rangers in singles lay, helping the Blue and Gold secure a 5-2 lead heading into the baker games. Needing two points in baker to clinch not only a match but secure a berth in the Texas High School Bowling Conference (THSBC) Regional Tournament, the Blue and Gold cruised to a sweep of both matches, guaranteeing their spot in the postseason.

"Grapevine really bowled well and never let up," commented Jesuit Dallas head coach
Ken Howell. "Our guys just stepped up and would not let this match slip away from them. Going into our last match against L.D. Bell and then regionals, this showed our guys are ready to pull some upsets."
