Trailing by two goals going into the fourth quarter, the Ranger lacrosse squad posted an inspired comeback to edge Southlake Carroll, 6-5, on Wednesday evening.

Daniel Burnum scored a hat trick for Jesuit (7-3), who have posted back-to-back wins after the 19th Annual Jesuit Lacrosse Invitational over spring break. Sophomore

Burnum kicked off the contest by scoring two goals in the opening quarter to head into the second leading, 2-1. However, the Dragons held the Rangers in check in the second and third, scoring two goals before halftime and adding another tally in the third to hold a two-goal advantage.

In the fourth, Jesuit came charging back with four goals scored by four different attackers. Burnum, Ellison, Jackson and Hassell all contributed to the comeback, continuing Jesuit's unbeaten record away from Postell Stadium which currently stands at 5-0.

On Friday, Apr. 7, the Rangers will travel to Coppell for a 7:30 p.m. faceoff against the Cowboys before returning to Postell Stadium on Saturday, Apr. 8 to welcome Bellevue High School (Wash.).
