Jesuit Dallas used a 17-4, game-ending run sparked by an eyebrow-raising, fourth-quarter performance by senior
Max Abmas to remain unbeaten on the year with a 63-48 win over Rockwall-Heath on Tuesday evening. Abmas scored 11 fourth-quarter points to turn a two-point lead into a double-digit victory for the No. 10 team in the state.

Abmas led Jesuit with 24 points, hitting eight shots and two buckets from three-point range while going 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Senior
Julius Marble added 16 points while dragging down a team-leading eight rebounds, and sophomore
Gavin Perryman scored 10 points. Jesuit shot 41.5 percent from the floor and out-rebounded Heath, 34-24.

Perryman kicked off the contest with a three-pointer, sparking a 16-7, game-opening run for the Rangers which saw the Blue and Gold shoot 6-of-12 from the floor while forcing five Heath turnovers. Heath's Kameron Pruitt buried a three-pointer at the first quarter buzzer to cut into the Ranger lead and send Jesuit into the second quarter with a nine-point lead. The Hawks maintained momentum in the second quarter, holding the Rangers to 4-of-9 from the floor while outscoring Jesuit, 12-9 to cut Jesuit's lead to six points at halftime.

Five points from Marble over the first 2:07 of the third returned the lead to 10 points. Heath battled back once again and cut the lead to four in the final minute of the quarter, then cut the lead to two with 6:23 remaining in regulation. Abmas began his stellar run with a layup at the 5:40 mark, then buried a deep three-pointer with 4:21 remaining to increase the lead to eight points. Jesuit went 10-for-10 from the free-throw line over the final 2:45 of the bout to clinch the victory.
