Jesuit Dallas erupted for four dual match victories, cruising to a 12-3 win over Flower Mound Marcus in the penultimate match of the 2017-18 season last Tuesday at U.S.A. Bowl. Anchored by an eyebrow-raising 187 average by senior
Solon Hamer, the Rangers secured their third win over the past five meets heading into the regular season finale against MacArthur.
Â
"The team bowled loose and confident, taking an early lead and pushing it through the end of the match." commented Jesuit Dallas head coach
Ken Howell. "
Solon Hamer has been bowling some of his best matches coming into the end of the season. "
Â
Sophomore
Silas Hartman started the meet with a convincing 326-215 win in his dual match, scoring a 73-pin win in the first game to score the Rangers' first point. Junior
Bryce Clark followed with a 290-273 victory in his match, shaking off a game one loss with a 58-pin victory in the latter bout to keep Jesuit ahead of the Marauders.
Â
Hamer easily handled his opposition with a 374-221 decision before junior
Timothy Montpas clinched the Rangers' fourth point with a 323-250 win at top-flight singles while helping Jesuit clinch the two-point pin aggregate, 1622-1288 to take a 6-1 lead into the baker games.
Â
Jesuit won the first baker game, 203-143, to clinch the victory. After dropping the second baker, the Rangers closed the meet with a six-pin victory in the final game to finalize the dominant win.

The Rangers will head to Euless, Texas on Saturday, Feb. 17 to close the season against the Cardinals. First roll is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. from IT'Z Euless.
