A big first quarter lead turned into a convincing, 9-3 win for Jesuit Dallas against St. Mark's on Mar. 2. The Rangers remain unbeaten with the win after outscoring the Lions, 5-1 before an impressive defensive effort in the second half propelled the Blue and Gold to their fifth win of the young season.

William Moran all tied for the team lead with three groundballs each. Moran added a stellar, 10-save performance between the pipes, sparking Jesuit's defense to a 21-of-23 clip in successful clears.

- Jesuit Dallas began the offensive onslaught halfway through the first quarter, scoring its first goal at the 6:40 mark on a tally from Sprock. Tabor found Hovivian 38 seconds later for Jesuit's second goal before Hovivian's second goal came unassisted at the 3:57 mark. The sophomore closed a strong first quarter by returning the favor to Tabor with 1:42 remaining in the quarter, helping Jesuit shake off a tally by St. Mark's with 5:22 remaining into the quarter to take a three-goal lead into the second.

- The lone goal of the second quarter came with 4:20 remaining in the half as Sprock found Tabor for a goal to send Jesuit into the break with a four-goal lead. The Rangers would hold the Lions in check during the third quarter as tallies from Tabor and Hassell helped blossom the lead to six.

- From the first to fourth quarter, the Blue and Gold used a string of six unanswered goals to give Jesuit Dallas a convincing lead going into the final moments of the contest. St. Mark's scrapped together a pair of goals in the fourth quarter, but a goal by Hovivian with 1:15 remaining punctuated a dominating effort for Jesuit.
