Jesuit Dallas moved to 4-1-0 on the year, using another third-period comeback to upend McKinney, 6-4, on Oct. 17 at the Richardson StarCenter. Trailing, 4-3 with 10:25 remaining in the third, Jesuit scored three unanswered down the stretch to clinch its fourth consecutive win and end the first round of league play in a tie for first in the AT&T Metroplex Varsity Gold division.

Santiago Diaz stayed hot on the year with two goals and an assist. Over the last four games, Diaz has four goals and four assists to his credit and is currently tied with junior
Seth Dragojevic for the team lead with eight points on the year. Junior goalie
William Carney turned in his second strong outing of the season, making 19 saves while shutting down the McKinney offense during the third-period rally to earn his second decision of the year. Carney has racked up 51 saves over his first two starts of the year between the pipes.

Chase Neel scored a goal and added an assist, moving his point total on the year to three with the third multi-point game of his career. Fellow junior
James McCown scored his fourth goal of the year as
Charlie Cohen added his second tally and first since the team's season-opener on Sept. 19. Sophomore
Alec Rahlfs scored his first goal of the year, the eventual game-winner late in the third period. Junior
Miles Dikun tacked on an assist on Diaz's insurance goal for his first point of the season.

McKinney struck first with two first period goals, striking at the 5:33 mark before lighting the lamp with five seconds remaining before intermission. The Rangers responded 5:40 into the second with an unassisted goal by Diaz before Neel scored an unassisted, shorthanded goal with 5:50 left in the period to tie the game heading into the second intermission.

In the third, McKinney scored 42 seconds into the period to regain a one-goal advantage but Cohen responded with 11 minutes left in regulation to tie the game again. Another goal by McKinney 35 seconds after Cohen's tally set the stage for the Rangers as Jesuit scored three assisted goals to clinch the win. Phillips found McCown for the equalizer with 9:37 left before Rahlfs put Jesuit ahead for good on a shorthanded goal at the 4:16 mark. Dikun capped the win with a feed to Diaz for the insurance goal with 2:43 remaining.

Jesuit will battle Frisco on Thursday, Oct. 24 in a matchup between divisional co-leaders. Frisco defeated Jesuit, 8-3, in the season-opener on Sept. 19 before Jesuit erupted for four consecutive wins. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at the StarCenter in Plano.
