An eight-goal first quarter and five-goal performance by senior

The Rangers erupted for an early, 6-0 lead over the first eight minutes of the first period as Rilley, Metz, Teachout, Hovivian and Buell opened the scoring before Hobbs notched his first varsity goal to cap the game-opening run. Jesuit would take an 11-2 lead into halftime as Buell scored on a feed from Hovivian with 22 seconds remaining in the half as the Rangers scored on 11 of their 23 first half shots while converting 19-of-20 clear attempts.

Jesuit's offense scored four goals in the second half as the Ranger offense took over, forcing turnovers on five of Frisco's second-half clear attempts and winning six of the 10 second-half faceoffs. Frisco scored four goals in the fourth quarter, but Jesuit's 12-goal lead earned at the conclusion of the third held firm until the final buzzer.
