Jacob Jackson led the Rangers to a 7-6 victory over Coppell on Mar. 20 in Coppell, Texas. The Rangers remain unbeaten on the year in their final tune-up prior to a three-game trip to Miami, Florida.

Jack Selner helped lead the defense with four caused turnovers and three ground balls. Senior
William Moran earned his eighth win of the year, making three saves in cage. Jesuit (8-0) converted 27-of-29 clears and secured 32 round balls compared to the 14 ground balls secured by the Cowboys. Sophomore
Henry Suarez went 8-of-10 from the faceoff "x" while classmate
Mason Chandler went 2-for-3 in faceoff attempts.

Coppell (5-2) took an early lead before unassisted first quarter tallies from Priddy and Metz sent Jesuit into the second quarter with a 2-1 lead. The two squads would trade goals until the last two minutes of the second quarter, when Coppell scored twice to take a 5-4 lead into the halftime break.

Jesuit's defense locked down on the Cowboys in the third quarter while Metz struck for his second tally of the game 44 seconds into the third quarter to tie the game at 5-5. In the fourth, the Rangers took the lead as Jackson completed the hat trick off of a feed from Hobbs before Buell scored a critical insurance goal with 6:49 remaining in regulation. Coppell would score with 5:45 left in regulation, but the Rangers would keep the Cowboys away from the equalizer over the final moments of the contest to clinch the win.

The Rangers will travel to Miami, Florida for the annual Jesuit Lacrosse Classic. Jesuit will begin the tournament on Mar. 22 against Jesuit Tampa before a Saturday doubleheader against Canisius (N.Y.) and Gonzaga (D.C.). The Rangers will return to Postell Stadium for the first time since Mar. 7 on Saturday, Mar. 30 against Flower Mound.
