Jesuit and Coppell went into the third period tied, 1-1, but the Rangers were held scoreless in the third while Coppell distanced itself quickly with two power play goals, an even strength goal and a short-handed, empty-net goal.

The Rangers will await for the remainder of the AT&T Metroplex Hockey League schedule to be released on Friday before learning of their next opponent. This season, a jam-packed varsity gold division includes Coppell, Denton County, Flower Mound, Frisco, Keller, Mansfield, McKinney, Plano West, Southlake Carroll and Jesuit Dallas.
