Rangers Drop 4-2 Decision to McKinney

The Rangers gave up three unanswered goals at a critical turning point of a 4-2 setback to McKinney on Thursday at the Richardson StarCenter. Jesuit Dallas saw goals scored by freshman Charlie McCarthy and sophomore Kyle Hogan, but were unable to cash in on a late comeback attempt.

McCarthy scored his fifth goal of the season early in the second period, taking a feed from senior Seth Dragojevic and finding the back of the net. Currently, McCarthy leads the Rangers in scoring with seven points on five goals and two assists while Dragojevic ranks second on the team with two goals and two assists for four total points.

Junior Santiago Diaz assisted on Hogan's first goal of the season, recording his third point of the 2020-21 campaign. Senior William Carney picked up 19 saves in net while Jesuit Dallas only allowed two power play chances during the contest.

Jesuit will continue the season on Thursday, Nov. 12 against Mansfield. The Rangers will face Mansfield for the first time this season at 7 p.m. at the Richardson StarCenter.
