Jesuit Dallas erupted for two touchdowns in the opening six minutes of the first quarter and never looked back as the Rangers used a balanced offensive presence that scored on eight of 10 drives to secure a 56-7 win over Nimitz on homecoming night at Postell Stadium. Several members of the Ranger senior class made key impacts as the Rangers captured their third district victory of the year and moved to 2-0 in district games played at Postell Stadium.

Jake Taylor crossed the 2,000-yard mark for his career with 129 rushing yards on Friday, moving his career total to 2,086 following his performance on senior night. Taylor was one of three Rangers to score a rushing touchdown as fellow senior
Kyle Heckel broke of an electric, 52-yard touchdown run to score Jesuit's first points of the game for his first touchdown of the season. Senior
Connor Naughton added a rushing touchdown of his own in the fourth quarter.

The Ranger quarterback corps finished the contest with a 82.6 percent completion percentage, led by 243 yards and three touchdowns on 12 completions by junior

Jesuit held Nimitz to 7-of-14 on third down conversions, forcing a pair of turnovers on downs and holding Nimitz to an 0-for-2 clip in the red zone. By comparison, Jesuit converted 5-of-6 third-down attempts and scored touchdowns on three of its four chances in the red zone. The Rangers finished the game with 542 total yards, holding Nimitz to 329 total yards and only 99 passing yards.

The Rangers enter the final three weeks of the season tied for second place in the district and can clinch a playoff berth with a win against Berkner on Friday alongside a loss by either J.J. Pearce or MacArthur. Jesuit and Berkner will square off on Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Wildcat-Ram Stadium.
