Jesuit Dallas fell to 2020 University Interscholastic League (UIL) 4A State Co-Champion Argyle, 41-38, on a buzzer-beating three-pointer Tuesday night at Walsh Gym. A determined effort brought on by a relentless defense fell one possession short of securing Jesuit's second win of the season over a state-ranked team as the Rangers began a four-game home stand against the fourth-ranked team in UIL 4A.

Cal Linn wrapped the team's scoring. The Rangers forced 19 Argyle turnovers, scoring 14 points off of Eagle miscues, but were outscored in the paint, 24-18 and allowed nine second chance points.

Jesuit will continue the home stand on Friday as the Rangers will welcome Arlington Martin to Walsh Gym. On Saturday, the Rangers will reignite their district rivalry with Allen before Jesuit hosts Garland on Dec. 8 to close a busy seven days for the basketball program.
