Jesuit Dallas dropped a 7-0 decision to Frisco on Thursday night at the Plano StarCenter. The Rangers earned a pair of third period power plays, but were unable to cash in on the man-up opportunities and a first period that saw Frisco jump out to an early, 4-0 lead.
The Rangers outshot Frisco, 17-11, over the last two periods of the game, but the ice was tilted in favor of the hosts in the opening stanza as Frisco scored four goals on 10 first period shots. Freshman
Andrew Zang stopped 14 shots in goal, and the Jesuit defense killed three of Frisco's four power play opportunities.
Jesuit will return to the ice on Thursday, Dec .17 against Coppell. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. at the StarCenter in Farmers Branch.
