Gavin Perryman punctuated a stellar week with a 29-point performance, putting him over 1,000 points for his career, as Jesuit held on in the waning moments of Saturday's clash against state-ranked No. 12 Allen for a 72-69 victory over the Eagles. Perryman becomes the fourth player over the last four years to hit the 1,000-point mark as the Blue and Gold scored their second win over the season over a ranked team, and the first win over a team ranked in UIL 6A.
Perryman scored 23 points in the first half, scoring his 1,000th point on a three-pointer with 3:14 remaining in the second quarter. The senior finished the game shooting 10-of-16 from the floor, 7-of-12 from behind the arc, and added six assists and two steals to his packed stat line. Perryman finishes the week averaging 25.7 points per game over three games, including a career-high 34 on Friday against Arlington Martin.

Shane Hatzmann tacked on 15 points and two assists while junior
Ben Johnson hit a pair of three-pointers, including a huge three late in the fourth quarter, while securing a team-leading five rebounds. Sophomore
Owen Berry went 3-of-5 from the floor to score eight points as the Rangers shot 46 percent from the floor and 45.2 percent from three-point range.
Jesuit will close a four-game homestand on Tuesday against Garland before traveling to Rockwall on Friday, Dec. 11. Tip-off for Tuesday's game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Walsh Gym.
