Scouting Plano West
Â
• The Wolves enter the home stretch of the season in sixth place with 11 points, 10 behind fifth place Flower Mound. Plano West was in position for a massive upset victory over first place Frisco last Friday, holding a 3-2 lead with 8:50 remaining in the second period. However, Frisco scored two unanswered goals to end the game, including the game-winner with 11 seconds left in regulation for a 4-3 win over the Wolves.
Â
• Plano West's top scorer is Robert Snyder, who has 12 goals, eight more than the closest teammate, with 18 points on the year. The Wolves are 1-3-0 over their last four game, earning their last win courtesy of a 3-2 decision over Keller on Jan. 7.

Last Time They Met
Â
A late third period goal by seniorÂ
Seth Dragojevic was not enough to overcome seven unanswered goals by Plano West as the Wolves defeated Jesuit, 7-1, on Thursday at the StarCenter in Plano.Â
Dragojevic scored unassisted in the third, marking the second straight game that has seen the senior light the lamp. SophomoreÂ
Arthur Trapp made 21 saves in the net as seniorÂ
William Carney added 14 stops. Plano West struck midway through the first period, cashing in on a 20-9 shot advantage to score four goals within the final nine minutes of the opening period, taking a 4-0 lead into the first intermission.
Â
After adding another insurance goal late in the second, the Wolves scored two power play goals in the third to take a 7-0 lead. Dragojevic scored with 4:07 left in the game, but the late spark was not enough to derail the Wolves' large lead.
