Jesuit Dallas Concludes Louisiana Trip Against Jesuit New Orleans

Senior Sky Tschurr scored 16 points to lead the Ranger lineup, but Jesuit dropped a 70-63, overtime decision to Jesuit New Orleans to conclude the team's three-game run in Louisiana. Jesuit saw 10 student athletes land on the scoresheet and pieced together a stellar second half comeback, but were held scoreless over the final 2:23 of overtime.

Tschurr hit four three-pointers, finishing the day 5-of-11 from the floor. Seniors Dylan Gibbons, Ben Johnson and Ryan McCormick scored seven points apiece while Gibbons added seven rebounds and a team-high five assists. Senior Will Mansour picked up a team-leading eight rebounds, senior Tai Kryger scored eight points with four boards and four assists, senior Will Inkman hit a pair of threes and finished with six points while junior Owen Berry and senior Charlie Needham scored three points each. Four pointsfrom Mansour and two points from senior Grant Kostos wrapped Jesuit's scoring on the day.

The Rangers scored 26 points in the paint  and racked up seven second chance points off of 11 offensive rebounds. Jesuit shot 8-of-14 and 2-for-3 from three-point range in the fourth quarter, rallying from an eight-point deficit at halftime and taking a six-point lead with 1:57 left in the fourth before the Blue Jays rallied back to force overtime.

Jesuit Dallas will return to Walsh Gym on Friday, Dec. 17 to take on Denton Guyer in the Rangers' final action before the holiday break. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
