Goals by senior Charlie Cohen and junior William Sahadevan paced the Rangers, however four second period goals by Keller resulted in a 5-2 setback for the Blue and Gold on Dec. 16 at the Richardson StarCenter.

Cohen's second goal of the season opened the scoring between the two teams, as Derek Zhang and Jack Sweda recorded assists to give Jesuit an early, 1-0 lead. Jesuit will return from the holiday break on Thursday, Jan. 6, when the Rangers will battle McKinney at 7:30 p.m. The Rangers are 2-0 against McKinney this year, securing a 6-2 win on Oct. 7 and a 3-0 win on Nov. 11. The matchup will serve as the final game before the Texas Amateur Hockey Association (TAHA) Division I Pure State Tournament starts on Jan. 18, when the Rangers square of against Allen in the first game of a round robin. The Rangers and Eagles will play at 6:15 p.m. at Comerica Center in Frisco.
