Jesuit Dallas erupted for a game-opening, 15-7 run and established a firm control over Friday's semifinal against Amarillo Tascosa, earning a spot in the championship game of the 58th Annual Bob Stras Knights of Columbus Dallas Classic with a 68-46 win over the Rebels at Walsh Gym. Jesuit will take on Highland Park in the final, set for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Jesuit forced 14 Tascosa turnovers, scoring 23 points. The Rangers added 26 points and scored 20 points on 22 offensive rebounds, closing out the contest with a 37-24 rebounding advantage over the Rebels.

The Rangers will square off against the Scots in the tournament championship game after Highland Park upended Lone Star, 68-64, in the first championship semifinal. The Scots opened their tournament run with an 81-53 win over Hillcrest. Saturday's matchup will be the first time that the Rangers and Scots have met on the hardwood since 2015, a matchup that also took place at Walsh Gym.
