Connor Chavez launched home runs, but a five-run sixth inning by Coppell overcame an early Jesuit lead and ended the Rangers' season with a 7-4 setback on Friday at the CISD Baseball/Softball Complex. Jesuit Dallas finishes the 2021 season with the program's highest win total since 2016.

David Day threw the final two-thirds of the sixth, striking out two of the five batters he faced. Chavez launched his second home run of the year with a shot down the left field line, finishing the game 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Senior
