Jesuit Dallas sparked a second quarter rally to cut into an early Yellow Jacket lead, but an unrelenting Rockwall offense held home field and handed Jesuit its first loss of the season on Friday at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium. The Rangers would fall to the state-ranked No. 13 Yellow Jackets, 75-28, moving to 1-1 on the season after scoring their first season-opening win since 2015.

Jesuit will return to Postell Stadium next Friday, when the Rangers will welcome out-of-state opponent Choctaw from Oklahoma. The Yellow Jackets, ranked seventh in Oklahoma by MaxPreps, are 2-0 on the season, opening the year with a 66-0 win over Beacon Hill before upending Springdale, 63-6 on Sept. 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Postell Stadium.
