Chris Sweda scored at the second period buzzer, providing the Rangers their second win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Frisco East on Thursday night at the StarCenter in Richardson.

Jesuit withstood an attack from Frisco East that procured 36 shots, including 16 in the third period while East was looking for the equalizing goal. Senior
Kyle Hogan started the scoring for Jesuit, finding the back of the net on a power play opportunity off of assist from
Aden Zirogiannis and
William Hubbell.

Zirogiannis picked up 36 saves, stopped a penalty shot, and held Frisco East without a goal in the second and third period. Sweda's first goal of the season came unassisted with one second remaining in the second. The Ranger were able to go 6-for-6 on the penalty kill en route to the win.

Jesuit returns to the ice on Thursday, Oct. 27 for a 7:15 p.m. puck drop against Flower Mound/Marcus. The Rangers earned its first win of the season, 4-0, over Flower Mound/Marcus on Oct. 13 and will target their third straight win at the Farmers Branch StarCenter.
