Keller scored the go-ahead tally with 1:21 remaining in the third period, derailing an inspiring effort by the Jesuit Dallas hockey team and handing the Rangers a 2-1 setback on Thursday at the Richardson StarCenter.

Jesuit's lone goal came late in the first period, when
Connor Sughrue put home a feed from
Kyle Hogan to tie the bout at 1-1 heading into the first intermission. Ranger goalkeeper Jayson Hess made 24 saves in the effort and helped the Rangers kill a trio of power plays, including a late 5-on-3. However, the Rangers were unable to find the back of the net over the second and third periods despite taking 11 of their 14 shots during that time.

The Rangers will next take on Frisco West on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Puck drop is set for the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas in Jesuit's last game prior to the holiday break.
