The 2022-23 Track & Field season began on Jan. 20-21, as the Rangers competed at the Texas Tech Under Armour High School Classic, held at the Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Charlie Thornton was Jesuit's top performer of the meet, placing 10th in the 3,000-meter run with a 9:34.36. Thornton would end his run as Jesuit's top finisher in the one-mile run, clocking a 4:43.82. Junior
Caden Cutchall placed 15th in the 800-meter run, finishing the race in 2:00.73.

Sammy McFarland picked up Jesuit's top finish in the 60-meter dash with a 7.30 in the event, as senior
Charlie Humbert clocked a 23.07 to finish as the Rangers' top finisher in the 200-meter dash.
The Rangers will next make their 2023 outdoor track season debut on Feb. 17-18, when the Blue and Gold will compete at the McKinney Boyd Relays at Ron Poe Stadium.
