The Rangers pieced together a late surge but were unable to topple Allen as Jesuit fell to the Eagles, 2-1, on Wednesday at the Plano StarCenter.

Wade Bryan scored with 6:49 left in the third period, cutting the Allen lead in half heading into the final moments of regulation. However, the Rangers were unable to send another one of their 10 third-period shots into the back of the net prior to the final buzzer.

Misha Saratovtsev racked up 23 saves in goal for the Rangers.

Jesuit will travel to the Midwest this weekend to compete in the Scholastic Hockey League (SHL) Showcase. The tournament will begin on Friday, Nov. 10 against Glenbrook South (Ill.), followed by matchups on Nov. 11 against York (Ill.) and Carmel (Ill.) before concluding the tournament against Stevenson (Ill.) on Nov. 12.
